August Love!

Here are the things I’m loving as the summer winds down and I’m starting to think about fall –

A great resource that came out recently is the ebook written by Suzy Brown aka Wool Wench on fleece selection called “Which Fleece?”.  At this time, Suzy is offering this item for FREE so you want to make sure to grab a copy.  Click here for the link.

If after you read Suzy’s book, you might want to head on over to Drucilla Pettibone’s Craftsy class on how to spin yarn using a spindle — For my complete review of the class, click here.  Suffice it to say, after watching Drucilla’s clear and thorough instruction, I was inspired to pick up my spindles again!  This is a great class and a terrific value!!

Finally, in August of each year for the past THIRTY years, I have picked up a copy of the September issue of Vogue magazine which is always chock full of inspiration!  Although the cover price is now $5.99, it is still a bargain in terms of the flood of color and design that is contained in its pages.  For some thought provoking ideas on how to use magazines as a source of inspiration, check out Nicole Constantin’s wonderful post on inspiration here.
