Dear Fiber Friends, September Love is posted and awaiting your perusal! I think you will enjoy it.
Such a busy weekend — much more social than usual, but I did get in some spinning this weekend as well as set some yarns. I’ve been spinning pretty regularly since Spin Quest which has been great so I’m starting to see a little inventory of yarns accumulating. I think some are actually going to end up in the little Spin Artiste etsy shop. So that’s a bit exciting, too.
I have actually been spinning sort of basic yarns lately – just playing around with focusing on drafting more consistently and then the joy of producing a plain, vanilla three ply yarn. One thing I had the good fortune to score was one of the beautiful hand dyed superwash rovings from Wild Hare Fiber Studio in the color way pictured at right, Autumn Splendor. Melissa does not have this in the shop yet (there are other color ways though) because she was taking it to a fiber festival over the weekend — message her to check on the remaining inventory. Her gradient roving is a true joy to spin!
Until next time, all my best, Arlene

Luvvvv the colors of the roving! Jump right in!!
That roving will be enjoyable to watch the colors unfold (or should I say spin) into yarn!! Have fun with it.
I just spun up a grateful dyes roving from Wild Hare fiber, amazing colors and fiber!
